I’ve come a long way since my mom gave me an Instamatic camera when I was 6 years old. The camera was worn and heavy but made the most beautiful CLICK! when you pressed the shutter.

Since then, I have grown to love photography and all of its wonderful facets more than I could have ever imagined. I have studied with some of the top photographers in the country. I am constantly searching, learning new things that make me different from the average photographer. I have gone through a few different cameras since the old Instamatic. I can’t believe that it is my life now.

I feel so lucky to have creative freedom in my work and the ability to work with people to capture images from the most important day of their lives. Nothing can quite describe the emotion I witness at a wedding. From the anxious energy of girls getting ready before the ceremony…. To a mother trying to hide her pride and tears when she sees her daughter in her wedding gown… To the excited tension right before a groom sees his bride for the first time…..

That is why I feel that choosing the perfect photographer is the most important part of planning your wedding day. You need someone who can capture the feel of your day that can be revisited simply by opening an album. You need someone who brings energy, creativity and fun to your wedding photos. You need someone with a stylish eye who can document your wedding in a fresh and funky way.
