Amanda and Dave had the best idea for their engagement shoot, taking a little trip to a place where they shared an amazing picnic date: Stockholm, Wisconsin.  We walked around town, picked up some pie, then made our way to a farm that serves fantastic pizza.  Best date ever, even with me as the third wheel.  Flowers were provided by the always amazing La Petite Fleur.

Simple, natural, and sweet.  There wasn't a lot of "over planning" when it came to Julia and Frank's engagement session.  Their only prop was their sweet dog Cassidy and the gorgeous backdrop in Marine where we shot.  I can't wait to see what is in store for the wedding in 2012.

Engagement sessions are way fun.  But do you know what you can add to make them extra special??  A fair on a 100 degree day.  Thanks to Alissa and Nick who braved the heat, humidity and Scramble to make these lovely images.

I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients this year.  I recently spent some time with the wonderful Julia and Frank, and their sassy lab, Cassidy.  There will be more bloggy goodness to come, but for now here is a little peek.
